  • Soroban Class
  • Abacus Instructor

Self Introduction

I have obtained several certifications, including various ranks in Japanese abacus, mental arithmetic, and flash mental arithmetic, as well as the first grade of the Japanese abacus examination sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
I also hold a nursery school teacher license and a second-class kindergarten teacher license, and I strive to provide instruction that supports both learning and nurturing.

I love to obtain qualifications and want to share the joy and sense of accomplishment of the process of working toward a goal with your child in my daily teaching.

What I value

I have not only happy memories while continuing to play the abacus, but also sometimes I have felt like quitting and have shed tears of frustration. That is why we value the "feelings of the moment" of the children who are facing the abacus more than anything else. I try to provide a warm relationship with the children so that even a small stumble can be turned into a big step forward.

Message from the Director

I am committed to helping each child learn at his or her own pace and with his or her own feelings. I get it! Fun! and "Fun!

Through the abacus, I want to nurture self-confidence, concentration, and the ability to never give up, as well as to learn from each other and grow as an instructor.
I am truly grateful for the opportunity to work with children on the abacus.
